Consent Tool

COMING SOON:

More information will be coming soon about how to manage a patient’s “Part 2” consent in the CurrentCare Portal.  “Part 2” refers to the SAMHSA federal rule called “42 CFR Part 2.” This rule allows patients to decide if they want to share their Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment data through CurrentCare.

Clinical providers and their staff will be able to manage a patient’s wishes to share their SUD healthcare data within CurrentCare. They will also be able to view SUD sharing status, and remove sharing.

This tool is called the “Consent Tool” and will be located within:

  • Portal – Staff will need to be granted access to the Consent Tool by their HIE Administrators.
  • InContext – Staff will be granted access to the Consent Tool by their EHR Administrators.
