Providers can choose which CurrentCare services best fit their needs. And they’re all free of charge.

View Clinical Data
    • View patient data from across the state:
      • Lab & Imaging results
      • Encounter Details & Summaries
      • Meds, Problems, Allergies, Immunizations
      • Care Team & Care Alerts
      • Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) medication data from RI and beyond
    • Available in a web portal or in some EHRs (InContext)
Receive Encounter Notifications
    • Be notified when patients have emergency and hospital visits
    • Choose from a web portal or “push” options

This diagram shows how data flows in to CurrentCare (see DataGuide). All participants then send a panel of members (list of patients). Providers can view patient data and be notified when THEIR patients go to hospitals.

Some services are available for all patients: Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) and the Consent Tool [coming soon].

Other services are for CurrentCare admins: Panel Processor and HIE Admin Tool.

Encounter Notifications

Receive real time alerts for patient healthcare events (hospital admissions, discharges, etc.), available in various formats.

PDMP
Access

Provides prescribers access to the RI Prescription Drug Monitoring Program and other states, to monitor dispensed controlled substances.

Consent
Tool
